How long have you been in business?
I have been in business three months, almost four.
How would you describe your business?
Pet version of friendship bracelet for crazy pet lovers like myself. I wrote a short post about the start of Bearytail Leather Co. which can be read here.
What kind of items do you sell?
Matching collars/bracelet and leashes.
Do you have any new or exciting items that you would like to highlight?
I’d like to eventually make matching bowties, handkerchief, etc. — basically any matching accessories that establishes a strong friendship between pet lovers and their best “furiends.”
Do you have any pets?
Yes, everyone in my family has their own pets. Mine is a Sheltie, Affenpinscher, Samoyed and Pug mix (according to DNA test) named Toto. Another one is a Poogle named Millie and our newest member of the family is Manda, who is a Timberwolf and GSD mix. Toto’s full name is Toni Toni — she is named after my brother Tony. Manda, of course, is named after me. It’s an inside joke we have. I’ve always wanted to say, “TONY! NO! TONY, BADDDDD!!! TONY DOWN!”
Tell us about the human(s) behind your business!
My family, friends, and significant other has always been very supportive, from the start and I can’t thank them enough.
